Dr. Nunez-Torres + Academia

I’ve been working in academia since 2012, and at Lehman College from the City University of New York since 2016.

As Chair of the MBI Department at Lehman College, he oversees undergraduate and graduate business education while advancing applied financial training through Bloomberg Terminal integration and structured program development.

As a Associate Professor, Dr Nunez-Torres offers courses such as: Corporation Finance, Principles of Finance, Capital Budgeting, Security and Investment Analysis and Financial Research with Spreadheets.

He is also the Bloomberg lab coordinator in our School of Business since January 2021.

Analysis of cost of capital, methods to raise equity and debt, capital structure theory, dividend payout policy, financial modeling and financial planning.

Investments

Risks of different securities using advanced principles of portfolio theory and computation and evaluation of investment performance. Applications of theoretical concepts to evaluate or conduct portfolio management.
